This weekend we took a family road trip to Leavenworth, WA and had a great time attending one of Tim's oldest friend's wedding. The girls loved the cooler weather, and feeding the huge trout in all the ponds around the lodge where we were staying. It was so gorgeous here.
Speaking of gorgeous, I know I am a little biased but aren't these 3 just the cutest?? The handsome guy in the back looks just as good in a tuxedo as he did 10 years ago (I know mushy mushy)!!
A Harris Family photo (I know some people would be making all kinds of comments if I did not post this) - so there you go...

Dance! Dance! Dance machines! The Harris girls had a blast. They loved dancing with the bride!

Stopping for a food break to refuel for some more dancing. On a side note, I was a little bummed there was no wedding cake (Sara I know you are feeling my pain here), BUT the food was really good!!!!
Dancing with all the handsome men at the wedding...
But dancing with sister was the most fun of all.

EXTREME HOME MAKEOVER - HARRIS STYLE

It has been a very interesting past few days in the Harris house - to say the least!! We found a major water leak coming from our dishwasher and leaking into the underside of our tile floor this last Saturday. It was only found because I was standing on the tile and noticed it coming up underneath the floor. An emergency crew was brought in and as they started ripping out the tile the damage became bigger and bigger and bigger... That would be my oven standing in the middle of the floor in case you are wondering.

This is what the subfloor looked like as they ripped out the tile. You can see the water line creeping towards the kitchen cabinets. Not good!!!
The blue thing on the floor is one of three fans brought in that are VERY loud and have to run 24/7 for the next 3 days to dry out the subfloor. It is like a wind tunnel in our house - we all talk a little louder and say "huh??" a lot!!

THE END OF THIS KITCHEN'S LIFE

After hours and hours of demolition, involving the removal of all of our kitchen tile down to the subfloor, the removal of all of our kitchen cabinets and countertops all that is left is one UGLY hole which was once a kitchen. The silver lining in all this is we get to pick out an entire new kitchen! We just hope and pray our insurance will come through and help us in this major undertaking.

Happy Belated 4th of July to all of our friends and family! We had a wonderful holiday which we started off with Independence Day Pancakes (a Tim creation I will add).
Don't you wish you could look this good when you roll right out of bed? I know she does not get the bright-eyed and bushy-tailed morning attitude from her mother!
I know a little cheesy to have them standing in their red, white and blue in front of the ol' red, white, and blue but I could not resist. Taylor is so sweet every time we hang this flag out she says the pledge of allegiance to it!!

Taylor and Aubrey were so excited that GG could come outside and enjoy the fireworks with them. It truly made everybody's night to have her be a part of the celebration.
Other special people who watched the show were Papa, and the girls' Great Great Uncle Bob and Aunt Maybelle!
Aubrey loves to hop in bed with GG for a snuggle. Every once in a while, GG lets them take the bed for a ride (they go up... and then they go down) - lots of entertainment for all involved!

The girls were so excited to dig into Grandma's famous 4th of July jello - it is almost too pretty to cut into, but so worth it when you do!
